No more Weaver scopes

Big buzz on RFC, confirmed from email inquiries made by several members. Weaver mounts and accessories will still be offered for at least a while. Seems Vista Outdoors owns both Weaver and Bushnell, and decided to drop Weaver. I'd guess Bushnell has a better profit margin. Some reports that dealers are moving out remaining stock at good discounts. Warranty service is a big question mark.

Vista also owns Federal, CCI, Speer, and Blazer ammo, Savage and Stevens, and a list of other shooting companies. Hope they don't make any more dumb decisions.

Redfield, Tasco, Simmons, Blackhawk, Hoppe's, Uncle Mike's, Butler Creek, Millett, Gunslick, Outers, etc..

Are there any figures to show gun buyers are getting saturated and not buying as much, or are sales still solid?

I'm thinking used guns are starting to pile up some. I saw a Sig P239 at the Kittery Trading Post last year in 40 S&W listed at $ 550 and I offered $ 525 and they refused. It sold a year later. Condition excellent. Same pistol same condition in 357 Sig and now they list it at $ 450.
