I was in my local gun shop yesterday and there it was on the shelf, calling out to me to just come and feel of it. Even though I am not supposed to shoot a 45 LC, I still can have my dreams. Man! That Henry was a beauty. Oh well, I guess we have to deprive ourselves sometimes. Now If I can just talk that lady out of her 357 Marlin!!!! ![]() |

The original Henry was a great rifle , but the 1866 was a improved Henry and 1873 Wins was the last improvement to the Henry rifle that needed no more improvement or changes in over the next 130 yrs and still the fastest and smoothest action ever made . The 1892 and 1894 Winc was a whole new design to handle the new and more powerful cartridges and it is a super strong action over the Henry , 66 and 73 rifles . The 45 colt or 45 long colt was never chamber in the old action because of the cartridge design , NO RIM for the extractor and straight wall case don't feed like a bottleneck cartridge anyway . ![]() |

Yes, it's a tough job being a gun nut, but someone has to do it. When I was young and dreamed of the rifles I would someday own, I foolishly thought that when I finally owned them, my gun buying days would be over. That was hundreds of guns, ago. ![]() |

Just another form of spam. The senders are trying to establish a presence on various websites to use them, later, for more commercial forms of spam. It's a matter of creating a network of links. Pretty easy to spot, once you've seen a few - the responses are typically gibberish.

Neat! I love the lures in the corners. Nice touch.
