Bianchi Ranger Series holster

Anybody use these? I've grabbed a few off eBay and really like them. These photos are for the size 4, for a 4 inch medium/large frame revolver. A size 5 is for a 6 inch barrel, go figure. Retention strap adjusts by Velcro. This one works well with SP-101s, High Standard Sentinels, and I would guess any K-frame or similar. Bianchi quit making them in the mid-Eighties, I think, but I like them better than any of the current nylon holsters.

I've used them on my GPs at one time, pretty good! Much better than Uncle Mike's or Blackhawk. I use Blackhawk Serpas now for all my outdoor use and leather for concealed. Had to switch to Safariland GLS for my new Sig P320 (when it arives) as Blackhawk doesn't make one yet.

You pretty much have to shove the gun into an Uncle Mike or Blackhawk, and the plastic belt loops don't hold up so well. The Bianchi is a looser fit, but is shaped so the gun slips to the bottom with no wiggle. Easier to un- or re-holster.

The newer Bianchi Accumold is fine, but very gun specific. They don't make one that fits 4 inch SPs, or LCRs.
