Here's Patch, our English Setter. I grew up with bird dogs and bird hunting and even though I don't hunt, anymore, I still love bird dogs. Patch hunts, every day, though, on our walks in the woods, even though I am not carrying a shotgun. ![]() ![]() |

This is Nola, 17 weeks and about 35 pounds. He is an English Black Lab. He comes from very good blood lines. He belongs to my son and is supposed to get to around 100 pounds according to the breeder. He has learned well so far and even rings a cow bell that is hanging at the door when he has to go out.[URL=http://s1083.photobucket.com/user/bmolloy1/media/Mobile%20Uploads/2016-03/400BCA80-D87B-4588-B003-A2CA3048B6D7_zpsnuumxfgl.jpg.html] ![]() ![]() |

Nice looking Pup Hopalong. 100 lbs is a big dog. Remington is 93 lbs. Zeb is 106. A lot of food equals a lot of clean up. PM me for more details. |

These pictures surely bring comfort to their caretakers. Well done! My favorite hunters were the beagles for rabbit hunting. Since the coyotes have taken over our area there are no more rabbits, feral cats or wild dogs. I retired in 1998 and left the farm. There is nothing like sitting in the sunshine and petting your critter. It is a comfort. I miss the horses, barn cats and my beagles to the point that I dream about them. ![]() Getting old is not what it is chalked up to be. This was a wonderful post and I appreciate what you folks have given to us. |

Lots of great puppies doing what they love, even a beer after a fun day in the field!
