Colt Peacemaker CO2

Okay so technically it is a Umarex but Colt let them put the name on it.
It is a nice BB revolver. Really had some fun with it in the garage this afternoon.
Shoots a little high at garage distance if about 18 feet. I expect that it will drop to about point of aim at 25 feet or so.
They had the Black model as well but the shiny one made me bring it home.
I may have to put some black paint on the front sight so I can pick it up better.

I picked it up at Cabela's in the Bargain Cave for a really good price. Their retail price is $ 129
and this one was a return so they had to sell it as used. Priced at $ 76.49 and I get a 5% military discount. So total with tax $ 77.76 .

This is a solid gun all metal frame and cylinder. Plastic grips that actually look good they are a little more yellow than this picture shows. More like old ivory.

Mechanically it is very much the same as a single action colt. You half cock it to load the "cartridges" in the cylinder. The cartridge holds the BB in the rear as seen in the picture above in the original post. It looks like a primer but round.
The cartridge is a hollow tube as seen below.

The 12 gram CO2 cartridge fits in the grip. The left panel comes off and has a built in wrench to turn the screw which seats the gas cartridge.

Seabee, I love it! That is such a neat gun. Hard to believe I haven't explored this one, yet. That has to change. Thanks!

The price usually comes down just before Christmas. Pyramyd has them now for $119.
And also a Pellet model is available for $149.

I've seen that one a few times, in nickel and "blue". It takes three looks to see it's not the real deal. They make a very nice Broomhandle, too. Available in semi auto only, or with a full auto selector! It only holds 18 rounds, but still sounds like fun. It looks very good in person.

The semi-auto only model is $20 cheaper

SeaBee,

How in the hell am I going to keep my New Years resolution to lay off the purchase of anymore guns for one year when you post stuff like this ??? Well... actually it's not a gun, is it? Not in the classic definition of a gun... yeah, I can do that and still not break my resolution...technically!!
That is a very cool piece!!!

There is a nice looking P38 that comes in two models. One is a blowback model that the toggle lock moves like the real thing. It uses more CO2 than the cheaper model.

This six shooter is very realistic. The weight is 2.1 lbs and a colt clone in .45 weighs 2.3lbs.
