Rock Island Arms M206 revolver
Posted earlier about Sportsman's Warehouse selling a lot of ammo in the past week. I forgot that they are now selling the M206 revolver. First one I've fondled.
Looked it over quite a bit. No match for Ruger or S&W, but a decent .38 revolver. Trigger was better than my pre-Wolff spring SP-101, both SA and DA. Crane fit and latch were good. Tight B/C gap. The one piece wood grip looked good with a reasonably good fit. Parkerized finish won't win an award for beauty, but it was even and complete (you can get them in nickel). If I had a need for one, it was well worth the $ 235 price tag.
I've read a lot of critical reviews of it, but I saw no real issues. Maybe they had some bad ones in the stockroom, but the one I saw was okay. Comes in a plastic case with an extra rubber grip. There's a 4 inch Model 200.
