I just took out my new c9 for the first time. Put about 300 rounds through it. The gun consistently would fail to fire at least once per magazine. Usually it was The last round but sometimes it would be the last two rounds and occasionally a random mid-mag round. Slide isn't sticking, rarely feeding improperly, just no bang when I pull the trigger. I have the 8rd mag that came in the box and 2x 10rd mags I bought new. Problem is consistent with all 3. Any ideas? On a good note, I only had two jams and not a single first round failure to feed. I did sand the burrs off the followers with 600 sand paper a, slight tweak to springs and feed lips to prevent nose dive and also polished feed ramp and doll head. With the failure to fire does the chambered round have a mark on the primer. What brand ammo?
I am not familiar with the C9 Highpoint but is listed as a DAO so is it hammer fired or striker fired?
