My hunting day are done . I can't walk longer then 5 mins and I still have alot of hunting guns left .

white tail, Black tail, or mule deer around me I rifle hunt with a old Winchester.

The last deer I got was about 4 yrs ago in Tn with my flinter .



And the 3 before that was with my Rossi in 44-40

Deer with a Flint lock? that's cool, that Rossi looks nice did you restock it? never saw such nice wood on a Rossi, all the ones I have looked at were some kind of mystery wood stained to look like Walnut.

That is the original fruit wood redone . I shot this gun in SASS/CAS for 15 yrs got to be 100,000 rounds shot thur it in that time and the gun is perfect and has NEVER jammed or miss fired .

Here is another plain jane stock I have redone .

Those Rossi don't come with wood like that any more, since it never jamed they most have copied the Winchester original design real well, I have never had a Winchester ever jam on me, you do real nice work refinishing stocks.

I was a gunsmith and I slick this one up for SASS/CAS matches over 15 years ago . Every match I when to I would bring 1 or 2 Rossi home to sllck up and a few Vaquero's also . .
