I think Elk meat is the best of all meats wild or beef .

I lived in Az and NEVER could get drawn 4 yrs in a row for Elk

This is his note with pic . He owns and runs a cabinet shop and only out of hospital 2 months with a bad back operation .

Trying to hunt when I can and work and get out orders. I lucked out and took this small bull. I had a chance at a 6x6 and 5x5 but took this guy at 165 yds in a howling cold wind. Layed there for 1 1/2 hours for the shot. the other bulls were just to far out to chance it, one shot 30 yds and down....the way i like it. the little 284 has done me well. Pete
