Probably risky to drive a small car, too. Volkswagon versus moose. Moose wins every time

I know some folks up in Alaska who depend on moose for their yearly meat supply, more than any other type of meat. One of them once told me, "We don't care if you folks come up and hunt caribou, bear, sheep, but leave the moses for us. It's our meat supply."

I watch all the different shows about Alaska people and how they live up there . Going to Alaska was a dream of mine and I watched everything that came on TV about it . After watching it on TV I will NEVER EVER want to go there . TEXAS is looking great .. They can have my moose .

Hmmm... never thought of them as cute. In fact, I've always wondered how a bull decides which cow is downright purty! They remind me of cow elk, and I ain't seen a purty one yet.

They're also pretty darn dangerous, especially at certain times of the year. Always gave them the right of way, back in my younger years when we were backpacking in the Rockies.

Moose and elk both are dangerous during the rutting season. We have more elk around here than moose.
