Me too! I reckon his dog must've ran both times, since they didn't mention it being hurt. |

What that man needs is a bear gun. Anyone who travels the woods in bear country should have one. I just bought another one.

That Bobcat is a great pic. Very difficult animal to capture with a pic, not to mention being a great pic in its own right.

I had a Bobcat as a pet when I was a kid, till it got ran over by a car. My Mom was glad, because it used to shred the laundry that was drying on the clothesline. | |

It was walking away and I wanted a picture of its face so I yelled "here kitty kitty kitty", it stopped and turned around for a second and click I took the picture.

Boy, bad luck, bad day I guess. I wouldn't be in that area even with the bear dead and gone without a carry gun, maybe a 45ACP would be better than a stick.

Somebody needs to start carrying a .44mag! This guy didn't make it. But he got a picture right before he died. He was in NJ I think so, that means, no sidearm. Yep, NJ. The right to keep and bear arms and New Jersey are like oil and water. I don't know why anyone would live there and not try to escape as fast as possible. Quote:

303 seein your cat and wildlife pics reminded me. Ma lives in AZ. She broke both ankles so I'm gonna help her out for the next month. I hate the cities. Phx and Tucson, they are so big now but I love it up in the mountains. My Brother lives in the white mountains. It's beautiful. Lots of wildlife. Got tons of swamp bears here in Eastern NC. Pics from AZ. ![]() Took this one a couple years ago, last time I was down in AZ for my little Brothers 40th BD. In a friends back yard space. This feller got himself a rattler lunch. ![]() Last edited by Gunny G; 04-24-2015 at 08:57 AM. |
