I've had good luck with Zeiss and their Terra 3X in 3-9X can be had for your price. I have heard some good things about Vortex and have good experience with Leupold models in your price range.

Welcome to the forum Joel! In addition to Terry's suggestions above weaver, nikon, burris, and Leupold make good glass. Everyone brags on leupolds lifetime warranty. Best thing to do is look thru a bunch in your price range at dusk. Low light seperates scopes in my opinion assuming this will be used for hunting. Good luck!

As above, any of the mainline brands are good choices.
I also have a couple of the Zeiss Terra scopes and love them.
