Hey folks..new here so I thought I would post a pic of my old Winchester 94 from 1942. I picked this up at an estate auction. A real sweet shooter. It was a working gun from a ranch in Wyoming. When cleaning her up I discovered a note under the butt plate showing the sale from the original owner to the next owner..now I am the 3rd owner ![]() |

Decent shape for a 74 year old. Those old Winchesters could shoot. I'll bet there are a lot of stories it could tell.

I saw the receipt and thought that can't be a 1942 cause the guy bought in on 1 30 30 and then I realized he bought 1-30/30. I'll steer clear of the cognitive tests today. Don't want the white coat guys chasing me with a net.

This reminds me of the K31. Most owners put their name and address under the buttplate.
