Range Morning

I just love shooting! I don't care what firearms I take, whether its pistols or rifles or both. I just sling the ammo downrange until my appetite for shooting that day is sated.

I don't keep track of how many mags I shoot or rounds either. When I'm done, I'm done.

We went shooting this morning and I didn't drink coffee, and I did eat a burrito for breakfast so I wouldn't be shaky. It worked. All was on point, even my double taps. Yay!

I deliberately only took pistols, because if I take rifles, they are what I end up shooting the most. Today I really needed to shoot a new pistol that I will carry as a bug and refresh with other ones that I carry from time to time.

I took splat targets, regular targets, a couple self healing spinners, and a few little plastic army men that I sat on top of some black walnut shells that were cracked open. I have to say the black walnut shells were a fly'n. Ha!

Aaaah life is good

I also don’t keep a count of how much of what ammo I shoot. I usually take pre loaded magazines if I am shooting bottom feeders. If I have five magazines for a gun that is what I will shoot. But if I get tired of that gun after two or three it goes back in the bag. And I pull out something that is more fun. Revolvers get more range time because they are so much more fun. Then there is my little Henry Mare’s Leg..... I put a lot of rounds through it just because it makes me happy.

And curious minds want to know.......what is your new bug?

A little glock, which was surprisingly smooth & accurate. It'll be perfect to conceal where I want to snuggle it close. LOL
