I finally found some pistol powder.

Well, I found a pound of pistol powder today, something new (to me),
Hodgdon's CFE Pistol
It falls between HS-6 & Autocomp on the burn rate chart.
It states it's great for 9mm, .38 Super, .40S&W & .45 acp.

I would really like to know why the rest of the country is having trouble getting pistol powder in stock? I was glad to find it, but now I get to rework all my data.

I have heard that too. I also heard it was good in .308 & 30-06 also.

As slow as the CFE Pistol burns, I am going to have to watch my velocities.

It's great to live in PA.
Graf's is a company with a long reputation in reloading & they have not Titegroup in 6 months.

I'm getting by though. I always keep a lb. of Universal for emergencies & with the lb of HP-38 & this new one, I'm OK With these last few shortages, I just hate getting low.

I know pistol powder is getting hard to find, anyway it is in my part of the country..I shoot a lot of .45 ACP and have been trying to save on powders I like,so I went to Hodgdon reloading web site and found that Tite wad can be used in 9mm and .45 ACP.
Just a thought.
