My books are too old for the 40 SW stuff are not in there so I got this lyman handbook . I've been using the internet to load my 40 S&W ammo . This manual was a waste of good money . 9MM c.u.p runs from 20,000 to 32,000 40 SW c.u.p runs from 16,000 to 23,000 ----- This is all wrong 45 acp c.u.p runs from 10,000 to 18,000 The 40 SW normally runs a c.u.p of 20,000 to 34,000 a little high then the 9MM . There top load using 180 gr cast bullet with Unique powder is 5.2 . I have no pressure signs or leading in 4 different guns at 5.3 and 5.8 of Unique which is way above Lyman's top load . They are all wet in there loading data for the 40 SW . Please post anything you have on Unique power and 180 cast . top loads please Last edited by tx gun runner; 07-11-2014 at 03:23 PM. |
