45 acp

Started raining just after lunch (walked this morning) and I just got 500 plated 230 gr RN 45 ACP bullets from Missouri Bullet Company so I decided to reload this afternoon. I loaded them up with 4.9 gr of Red Dot. Figured about 800 fps with that load and it used some of the Red Dot I have on hand and rarely use. I got my Sig P250 and pulled the BBL as that is how I check for cycling. Before I did that I loaded a round and decided to test it in my backyard range. I don't have one but I do have a big pile of dirt from the wall project that I haven't used for backfilling the wall yet so I popped a round into it. Nice soft shooting round, I think I'll enjoy shooting them.

It a temporary situation and I don't really shoot in my backyard anymore as it's getting too built up around here and they call the police. I did have to test my reloads so one bang and the neighbors will think it was a firecracker.

You crack me up!

If you shoot in the dark, leave all your lights off then they won't think you had anything to do with the bang. LOL

I luv shooting 45acp.....thump...thumpty thump thump thump.

We are getting existential now. If a 45 goes off at night and no one heard it, did it happen?

Using your imagination again, what would the people who weren't sleeping be doing?

(This could be really good, y'all....)
