223 and Berger 70gr. VLD data
I am am new to reloading rifle ammo but have bought several reloading manuals already. One by Speer and one by Lyman. A guy I know gave me some 70 gr. HPBT Very Low Drag bullets and I can't seem to find any reloading data for them. I want to load them for my 223 Remington and don't want to have to go buy a Berger reloading manual just to us them. Would any one have any idea where I could find reloading data for this bullet. I have Varget and IMR 4895 powder presently.
Thank you for any help you can offer.

Who is the bullet manufacturer? If they make the bullet they should have loading data for it.
The Sierra Manual lists loads for 69 gr HPBT MatchKing bullets:
Varget 19.9 gr-26.4 gr, 2600 fps-3100 fps
They list H4895 but not IMR.
I have found the Sierra manual to run loads hot so start at the bottom and work up slowly. You bullet is also a grain heavier so I would stay below max. Your rifle, your responsibility. Check for pressure with each new powder weight.
