Nice!!! Those CZ's are hard to beat. Mine is similar except has a sporter barrel with sights and a K4 Weaver. It is one of my most accurate .22 rifles.

She has got me too. I just don't have a place to shoot one yet but when I do there will be a CZ in the safe. I think she has hypnotic powers. ![]() |

We really have it good here. We blame CZ's & airguns purchases on NCG & Henry's on 303! But the downside is, we know we wanted them anyway. ![]() |

Gee, guys, I had no idea you took me that seriously. Maybe I should open my own gunshop. I could call it the Shooter's Boutique or something. ![]() Actually, rman, you did very well. Congrats. The backward safety doesn't bother me in the least. The plastic mags actually work better than the metal ones that CZ used to supply on some of the 452s and 453s, at least in my experience. CZ also makes a 22 LR single shot adapter which I love for range use. (The ss adapter fits 452s, 453s and 455s in 22LR, despite the label Midway uses). Makes for less hassle when shooting off a rest and, of course, it tends to slow down ammo use a bit. By the way, I should warn you that NO ONE stops at one CZ. Very addictive guns. Too late, though. You've got the bug, now. Last edited by north country gal; 04-21-2014 at 05:41 PM. |

Now that our outdoor shooting season is upon us, up here in the north woods, I will be shooting a lot of CZ rifles we acquired over the winter. SO, if you don't want me to fire up more of the CZ lust, now is the time to speak up. Seriously, I will back off writing about CZs. Trust me, when it comes to CZ range reports, you ain't seen nothing, yet.

I while back I was interested in the CZ carbine with iron sights in 7.62x39 and in looking into them I was impressed with their design and engineering. I am not looking at rifles now but if I ran across a nice CZ in .22 LR I would have a hard time walking away. I have been enjoying and learning from your posts. Your full stocked CZ did give my pangs of gun lust but I can handle it. Maybe. |

I like the fact you can change the barrel to a new caliber. I may end up with the 22LR & a 22 magnum barrel conversion kit. I already have the .17 HMR covered with my Savage. All kidding aside, I agree with Mac, keep the info coming please. |
