That one has been on my "to buy" list for a long time, but might have to get the lead out, so to speak. Really is the world's most accurate BB gun. If you don't have a lot of room in your house for a range, this is a great option. BB gun competition is at a distance of 5 meters (16 feet, 4 inches) and the 10 ring in the target is smaller than one .177 pellet in size. Nothing easy about it. |

TGR, what kind of backstop are you using with those steel BBs?

I used the chair trick in shooting that target . It was not offhand http://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/Gamo_C...per_Targets/70 ![]() Last edited by tx gun runner; 06-16-2015 at 08:37 PM.

That's for the info on the steel bb's. Your pictures in the thread are tops. You did a great job photographing everything and putting the picture report together.

We sometimes get so focused on your great shooting, TGR, that we forget to compliment you on your great photography. As far as using the chair trick instead of shooting offhand, we understand. I think I can speak for everyone, here, that we are delighted that you found a way to keep shooting. How's the trigger on that Daisy?

My 499 BB gun at 10 meters shoots just as good as my 953 pellet gun indoors at 10 meters . The 499 is more forgiving if you screw up because of the short barrel time . . The round BB's suck for hole punching but the don't make wad cutter BB's ... ![]() ![]() |
