Man that is a beauty! I wouldn't be surprised if NCG didn't have one tucked away in the safe.

I don't think so ..It is not drilled and tapped for a scope .

I sold this one to a buddy 3 years ago and sure miss it . It was a super shooter and still winning matches .

Am I seeing a flaw, damage, or just a reflection? On the buttstock, left side, just behind the action.

What is it that makes us love old 22 cal rifles?
When ever I see one in a Gun Shop I always pick it up and fondle it.(Can I say that? Yes I can.)
Maybe it's because our first rifle was a 22. Or they are old like me and well used and still work. I also think of the smiles it has given its owners over the years.
I have never bought one, but I do like them.
What are your thoughts?

My first .22LR was a Belgium Browning Auto .22. I dearly loved that rifle. My mother would take me and my friend Carl to an old illegal dump site in the woods, on Saturday mornings, and drop us off. She would come back at noon and pick us up. We both had ..22 rifles and shot anything we could find. Light bulbs were the most fun. I wrote a short story on the memory. Someone stole that lovely rifle from me and I have painfully missed it since.

When I lived in Philly I would go to the city dump and shoot rats with my Marlin 39 after they closed it at the end of day or go to the Delaware river storm drains near the docks on weekend and shoot rats there also . Cops never bother me either .

Belgium Browning Auto .22. That was the first gun I shot also. It was my Uncles. His was stolen also.
I bought a Ruger 10/22 when they first came on the market and I still have it today. I would go to the local dump with a friend and we would shoot Rats. Many great times there. I guess this is when and where I learned to shoot. Maybe we need more dumps and 22 rounds for the kids today.

I think they closed dumps for rat shooting because most of the rats now vote.
