A pair of Savage 1907's from 1919

Kinda neat..the two are only two numbers apart and the condition is pretty much the same.
I've had one of these with some family history, serial number 199050 from back in the mid 60's and stumbled onto the other one while browsing the auction sites. Anyhow, I knew the other one had a serial number kinda close to mine so I went and checked and it was only two numbers off..199047. The one on the auction site was missing the grips but that didn't bother me since Numurich had them in stock. I won the auction with a $ 200 bid. Kinda hard to tell em apart. Here's a pic. Rich

Neat little autos. Nice you could get them so close in serial number. Thanks for sharing. Would love to hear how they shoot, sometime.

They are fantastic shooters with a natural point of aim. Both of mine have mirror bores. They do show up at the gun shows but a lot have pitted bores. I always carry a bore light when going to the shows.
