Time to hijack this thread since we are talking AR's. I worked a bit on my Ruger AR556. I put on a new pistol grip and a new end plate. All went well....functions well and shoots fine. However, a part is left over...... ![]() |

I figured it out. Fortunately it had a patent #. https://patents.google.com/patent/US...patent:6434874 It is unnecessary with this grip and gun. It came with the new grip and I failed to see it when opening the package. Last edited by RidgeRunner; 04-05-2019 at 11:29 AM. |

How do you like the POF trigger? What pull weight is it?

I did a little research on the ammo you mentioned. I will get a box and try it out. Thanks.

Attempted using an NOS (new old stock) Aimpoint cantilever carry handle mount to install an Aimpoint PRO, but it gave the thing a terrible front heavy feeling, so I did a little searching and found a period ARMS Aimpoint carry handle mount for a PRO that used to reside on my Arsenal SLR. Now she balances as she should, all I need is a range trip to get a good zero

Got some range time in this afternoon, and got a rough hundred yard zero on the Aimpoint in its new mount. This will likely be the near final configuration |
