Johnny

I have felt your pain. Been there done that also. Did you ever notice that
when shooting from a table you feel more recoil than when shooting from a standing position.? Or it seems that way to me.

Easier to roll with the recoil when standing than it is when sitting. Standing you can use your lower body to help reduce recoil. Well I think he better understands what you were telling him. I believe you have made your point and I doubt he will for get it too.

Was your shoulder so sore you decided to mount the gun to your arm??

My Winchester 1300 with a rifled BBL only shoots one brand of slugs well. Fed Premium 3" saboted slugs. When I'm hunting no noticable recoil, when I bench it hang on. Takes disclipine squeezing when you know you're about to get pummelled but at over $2.00 apiece for slugs I force myself.

Wow, Seating the butt of the rifle at the bicep instead of inside the shoulder. I'll bet that affects accuracy too.

I can relate though. My biceps are starting to swell also!
