Between the two of them, we have a pretty good warning system.
Yep got to love dogs.

As good as our dogs are, they are not infallible. If you know the secret code (their favorite dog treats), you have a chance of beating the system.

Not my male Shepherds.
I have had 3 males all died at 12 and 1 female she died at 12
Giving away my age HAHAHAHA
Now I have 1 male 1 1/2 years old, and a female 7 years old.
All have lived in the house and the males pay good attention to me.
I train them from pups with treats then after a year I stop the treats.
I never have to mistreat them but they know I'm mean business.
They are one of the greatest dogs do have from a pup and train.
I love them good or bad. But they stay good with lots of love LOL

I grew up with dogs but I'm a cat man. I liked the picture though. That's a well trained dog!

I have grandkids. I can't leave loaded weapons laying around. Keep a .45 in a lock box under the bed and the perimeter alarm should give me a few seconds to unlock it.

Good for you, Bob. We lock everything up, even the ammo, when our grandkids visit, too. Might be a different story if our grandkids came from families that had guns and did a lot of shooting, but our grandkids don't know guns, so we play it safe.
