You can buy this one at 1/3 the cost and cut the stock yourself . The cowboy shooter made a kit to speed up loading it if anyone is interested .

I like them. Can you cut down the stock and still be legal?

I'm surprised you don't already have one, 303.

Darned if that wouldn't make a good carry gun for bear defense. Hmmmm!

Remember the Bootlegger is a Shotgun where the Mares Leg is a pistol

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sawed-off_shotgun

United States
Under the National Firearms Act (NFA), it is illegal for a private citizen to possess a sawed-off modern smokeless powder shotgun (a shotgun with a barrel length shorter than 18 inches (46 cm) or an overall length shorter than 26 inches (66 cm)) (under U.S.C. Title II), without a tax-paid registration

That gun has a lot of hiccups . I've never seen one that run smooth in matches . They don't jam but and you need to a lot of force and don't like being babied . The original one are 10 ga .

I can see where a pump action with that kind of buttstock would be easier to operate. Looks like old Hicock45 even stumbled a bit with it.

I'm pretty sure you can cut the barrel down to 18", but must keep the overall length at least 26", unless you get the ATF stamp.
I'll stick with my good ol 870 with a full stock.

I noticed that he had problems cycling it. Kind of makes me wonder.

Don't know if it was a shortcoming of the design or a quality issue of the brand. Maybe both.

I could get into that. I noticed a lot of the comments said it was junk because it was made in China. Norinco makes some of the best firearms in the world in my opinion. The finish on them might not be too purdy but they function perfect. My 1897 Trench Gun is an example of that.

Those guns need to be broke in . Take all the oil and grease out gun and open and close action for a hour or so when watching TV till it smooth up . Take it a part clean oil it should be ok from then on. And remember the last shot in 1887 gun don't eject well . I didn't catch the in one video but they were loading it 1 round at a time . That was there problem not the gun .
