Franchi Instinct L

I am looking for a decent o/u for upland bird hunting. wondering if anyone here has experience with the Franchi Instinct L ? I don't want to break the bank for a couple months a year. these sell for around a grand street price.

thanks

I went a different way and bought a CZ redhead premier o/u. recommended by my lgs....said he has sold quite a few with no problems. haven't been able to shoot it yet. it's been snowing for 2 weeks now !! 4 feet in 14 days.

Looks like a lot of the storms are looping around us and hitting you, Jack.

We have a CZ Ringneck in 20 gauge we have yet to fire. Got it brand new for a song at an auction last year, but we're not hunting, anymore. Nice as the gun is, I'd just as soon sell it for something we're more likely to shoot, but Bill wants to keep it, so it stays in the safe. I do think the Huglu shotguns are a heck of a buy for the money.

I love SxS. I have an old Ithaca that is fantastic. I bought the o/u for retirement when i'll have time to shoot more. thought I might do some clays for fun, and definitely will do a ton of upland bird hunting. the o/u will be quicker to get them on the fly. the redhead is very well balanced and feels good.

I always tended to shoot O/Us a bit better, but nothing beats the classic looks and balance of a SxS.
