Another Winchester 1897 Question?

I have a question for all of you 1897 shotgun experts. Is there any demand for a Winchester 1897 shotguns these days? I have one that I bought from a friend a couple of years ago and I have no intention on shooting it. Mine was made in 1915, with a 28" barrel, and has no cracks in the wood. I mainly bought it just because I thought it would be a cool shotgun to own and always (sort of) wanted one. Now, I'm trying to decide if I should keep it or sell it. Any comments would be appreciated...Thanks

Very much, so, in cowboy action shooting. Those folks tend to scour gun shops and gun shows to get one and will pay a premium for one in good shape. You'll have no problem selling one, though I have no idea what one is bringing, these days.

I'm sure no expert on em, but they are in demand by the Cowboy Action shooters.
I just bought one a couple of months ago, after watching for a good one at a halfway decent price for 5-6 years.
I'd shoot it.

You type faster than me.

I gave $400 for mine, and thought it was a heck of a deal. It almost looks new, and like I said, I'd been watching for a good one for years.
