J. Stevens 94b shotgun missing parts
I just acquired an old J. Stevens model 94b 12ga shotgun. It is missing the firing pin. Also, there is a threaded hole (1/4")in the breech face, where the firing pin would pass. Is there a part that threads in there, which has a hole for the firing pin to pass? Looking at parts lists and diagrams, I don't see a part. And I can't seem to find a picture that shows a view of the breech face. Anybody know about this?

Welcome to the forum.
You might get lucky and find that part with Numrich (try them, first) or find a beater 94 for parts, but another option would be a gunsmith. Probably wouldn't be hard for a good gunsmith to make to make a firing pin and bushing, but the question is how much money do you want to invest in the gun to restore it to shooting condition? Having the part made would likely exceed the value of the gun, but if the gun has sentimental value, that's another matter. Best of luck.
