Unknow gun manufacturer
I have this old muzzleloader shotgun that has the words T Solomon West Philadelphia on the lock and on the barrel and im cant seem to find any info on this gun. I was wondering if anyone can help me out with this

I googled it and got no where. There were a lot of little manufacturers in the 1800's and thing were much different than today. I wonder if a call to the NRA Museum could get you in touch with an expert that might help.

All I could find:
An auction Solomon, dates c. 1846, the gun went for $354.00. Photos.
Item 36 on this auction list, "Percussion Half Stock – 12ga. Shotgun Fowler – w/36” U.S. Mod. 1863 Barrel". List of 50 guns, would have been an interesting auction for sure.....
