Anyone with any experience with Churchill

Went with my friend a couple of weeks ago to get a shotgun for home defense. The only thing available at one shop was a Churchill 12 gauge. He bought it AND a Steyer AG. Dropped over $ 2100 with this store. The Churchill is a Turkish made piece. The gun had troubles from day one with FTF. The second trip to the range and the barrel fell off!!! A welded on retainer ring had failed and broke loose. Took the gun back to the GS and was told " YOU gotta send it back to the Manufacturer, we're just the dealer and have nothing to do with it once you leave here" !!!!
Has anybody dealt with this Churchill company?? They are out of Cocoa, Florida.

Epilog to my friends difficulty with his new Churchill shot gun. He went on the stores website and made a comment about the incident. The store owner called him within two hours apologizing for his employee's lack of knowledge of policy and asked him to return the shotgun for a full refund. Problem solved.

Nice. He can always order firearms online and have them shipped to his FFL. There is still a lot of firearms from reputable online dealers available. That way he would be able to get the brand shotgun he really wants.
