357 Max

I got this for pig hunting and it don't look like I will ever do anymore hunting . I have trouble chasing beaver around the super market anymore . I got 3 lbs of accurate 1680 which is suppose to be more accurate then IMR4227 in a Maxie and 200 fps faster too .

Here is the rifle to go with it . I've never fired the 357 Maxie barrel yet and I never got the scope sighted in on the 308 yet .

WELL, TGR - Send the Maxie to me and I'll exercise it for you. I got mine just because I always wanted one and had a thought to go disturb the pigs, then my son got out of the hunting club so no place to go. They always complained about the pigs tearing up the grounds and the deer won't go anywhere the pigs have been. One of the guys got 5 with his AR, he rounded a turn on the access road and there they were. When they saw him, they ran toward him instead of off the road. The other 20 got away he says.

jimbo .......... the 20 pigs that got away will be 100 this time next year . They multiply that fast . Here in Tx we are over run with pigs . The ranchers here charged to hunt them 2 years ago , now they are paying people to hunt them and state is using helicopter to shoot them . They are going to be the only thing too hunt here in Tx

NAWWW-- you'll be here holding down the fort long after most of the rest of us old geezers are done. I thought that's why you moved to Texas!
I'm gonna have them bury mine with me, just in case I have a need for them in the afterlife.
I had a dream I had died and the devil came and got me. He gave me my punishment by making me sit on a hard stool at a single stage lee press and load ammo for him forever.
I started going to church again after that dream.

Sounds like you need to get down to that good hospital in Houston. Thet are suppose to have some of the best docs in the U.S. there.
My wife had Berger's, and Asthma, and emphysema, plus is overweight. We use to go and do all the time, now she is limited on how much she can do without be exhausted. Plus she hurts pretty bad in teh legs. Poor circulation, but I can't get her to lose any weight. She has to make up her mind to do that before anybody else can help.
Sounds like Duke is one to ride the river with. I can just imagine you guys like in the old movies, one with John Wayne I think, where he rides and the dog scouts ahead.

I started out with the VA in Nashville , then the Nashville and Menphis private hospitals and now the Austin and Temple ones in TX . I've giving up on all of them . It's the money they worry about , I've seen more then 30 different doctors in 3 year and NOT 1 has spent any time with me or ask any personal question to try to get to the bottom of my problems . They send me for test or another doctor or say try these med's at $150 to $250 pop for 30 days supply . The warning on meds they give me read like a suicide pill .

Wouldn't have been so bad if the devil had let me use the Dillon 650 sitting on the bench next to me.

The good part is with a Lee forever won't be that long.

TGR:

Houston has some of the top hospitals in the country:

Cancer: MD Sloan Center at the Univ of Houston is rated number one in the country.

Heart: Texas Heart Center at St Lukes Episcopal is rated #4 in the country.

Whatever is wrong I would pick the one most appropriate and go for a second opinion. I have no doubt they can get to the bottom of it.

I developed Atrial Fibrillation last year and went to a local cardiologist and he prescribed a plan of treatment. I decided I would seek a second opinion just for my peace of mind and went to Mass General in Boston to the head of the A-Fib department and he ordered tests my Dr had not and changed the treatment fairly significantly.

The way I look at it is if you are worried about the cost then what will you do with your money when you are gone?

Most big hospitals will have bio's of their DR's on line. I knew Mass General was one of the top 5 heart hospitals in the country and the closest geographically to me in the top 5 so I went on line and the guy I went to was the head of the dept and a professor at Harvard. I figured that was my guy and let my DR know what was happening. With our insurance I didn't need a referral so called them up and made the appointment. I was both impressed and reassured with the results and really impressed with the MGH.

TGR- I second what Terry said. Please don't give up. I know how tired we can get of the endless run around and how fed up by being pushed aside or not taken seriously by doctors. I have several friends and aquaintences that have gone to Houston. My neighbor went to the heart center and they found what he had wrong when everyone else missed it, and found he had early stages of prostate cancer as well. He would be dead now if he hadn't tried them as a last hope.

Now --Get your butt down there and let them find out what is wrong. They have some of the best doctors in the country.

You know they sent me to eye Dr this week , last month for prostate cancer test and I said the month before that I had a scope run up my butt they didn't test my prostate . NO that is a different Dr . A big heart hospital in Nashville they did 4 different test plus they ran a scope up inside of both my thigh to look inside heart looking to see if I need somethimg to be repaired . I pass with flying colors . A year and half later the Austin heart here in Tx did the same thing and my heart is OK . I've been to 4 different pulmonary Dr . I'm tired of screwing with all them all .
