Ruger SA hammers

There is the 3 triggers I use . You can see I cut the hump down on the Bisley to fit Vaquero and Blackhawk frames . I prefer the Super Blackhawk hunter hammer . For me it cock better then Bisley 1 or 2 handed and way better then the stock hammer . I thin the SBH down so slipping the hammer much easier for CAS shooting .

Very interesting, TGR. I wish Ruger offered more options on their hammer shapes and sizes. On my SBH 44 mag, 5 1/2" barrel, that darn hammer has bitten me to the point of drawing blood and I have scars to prove it.

All the Ruger SA Vaquero , SBH and Blackhawk hammers interchange , even the New Vaquero and Bisley are drop in with a small mod . Below is a 357 made in 1976 and a 2000 SBH hammer drops in with no mods . NCG ...Sound like the gun is rolling in your hand . The second pic show how I control the roll with my little finger for 1 and 2 hand shooting or go to the video "Long Hunters " and use your thumb like he shows you for 2 handed shooting .
