90 Chev truck

My water pump started leaking a little bit . So I went to Autozone and got a New water pump and antifreeze and it took me less than 2 hrs to put it in . I will be stuff and sore for the the next 2 days . I put a New clutch , 4 new tires and rear wheel cylinders 4 yrs ago . 2 battery since I owned the truck and a heater core 2 yr ago . That is not bad for the last 7 yrs I've owned the truck . It still gets 21 mpg on 87 octane on the highway and 16 mpg around town and 1 quart oil every 2,000 miles . The Tx sun is killing the paint .

Poor duke is doing all the work. The paint in the 80's and early 90's wasn't all that great when OSHA cracked down on what they could use. It took them about a decade to figure paint out under the new rules.

Yeah I had a car painted for free back then. They called it a 'delamination' IIRC. The paint just sheeted off like, well, crappy paint.
