Check out my wild roses

These bloom for 8 mo out of the year if I water them which I don't .

Very pretty. But it is probably best if you let Duke water them. If you do it the neighbors might not like it.

Yellow Rose of Texas, eh? I would LOVE to see a flower in bloom, right about, now, but we still have some rain/snow mix in our forecast for next week. Thanks for the pics, TX. Really does warm me up.

the snow is finally almost all gone here, but we're quite a while away from roses. beginning to feel like spring though. it was a long wait this year

Here are my Knockout Roses…
I didn't, unfortunately, prune them this past fall/winter and they are growing everywhere!
Kinda, sorta, in a way, it's OK…besides tulips (which I don't have), roses are my favorite.

It has only snow twice in 5 yrs in my part of Tx total of less then 3/4" . How much do you get in your part of Tx . We had 2 big rain storms in the last week about 3 hrs with a total of 6" doubling our rain fall for the year . Your in the hill country I guess you get a a lot more then me .
