Found this

I got this in Az in 1993 and forgot I had it . I open a ammo box today and found this in there . Just like a Christmas surprised . It is in new condition . I shot 50 rds in it . I think the flat bands wooden catapult I make are faster , smoother and more accurate then the tube type bands in my opinion .

Reminds me of the Saunders Wrist Rocket we had as kids. We sure had a lot of fun with that thing. Couldn't pull it back too far, but I could hit my share of pop cans with it.

I made my 1st catapult out tree branches and bicycle inter tube in my pre-teen year . I lived in Tx in 1954 and my 1st kill was with a catapult I made and it was a 5 ft rattle snake I killed with it .

I've got that same one, only now it has red tapered bands on it.
